NJ Nationals
What is NJ Nationals?
The primary goal of the NJ Nationals program is to provide top players with the opportunity to play at the highest youth soccer levels available to them, while still continuing to play for their local soccer club with their friends and classmates. We offer a high level of college preparation through events, video, college fit finder etc.
The NJ Nationals teams come from a collaboration between Chatham United, Cheshire Academy (formerly West Morris Premier), Legacy Premier, Summit Soccer Club and Scotch Plains Fanwood Soccer Club. In the current soccer climate where clubs are constantly competing for players, players and families lose out, so this collection of like-minded clubs came together to create a player focused platform that can provide the best player development experience for long term growth.
NJ Nationals programs are offered in three distinct age groups, each one providing gradually more commitment and high-level soccer. The Blue program is offered to U10-12 players, the Select to U13-15 players and the Elite teams for U16 and older players.

The NJ Nationals "Blue" program is open to U10 - U12 players and is offered as a supplemental program to the most talented players in our partner clubs. Players in the Blue program MUST play for one of our partner clubs as their primary team (Chatham, Cheshire, Legacy, Scotch Plains or Summit).
The NJ Nationals "Select" program is open to U13 - U15 players and is offered as an advanced supplemental program to the most talented players in our partner clubs. Players in the Select program MUST play for one of our partner clubs as their primary team (Chatham, Cheshire, Legacy, Scotch Plains or Summit).
The NJ Nationals "Elite" program is open to U16 and older players and is the highest-level team offered by NJ Nationals.
Tryouts for all NJ Nationals programs take place in May each year.
Tryouts for the Elite program are offered to U16 Boys and U18 Girls (2007 and 2005 Birth Years), and tryouts are open to all interested players, regardless of club affiliation. Teams will be selected from an open tryout.
Tryouts for the Select program are offered to U13, U14 and U15 Boys and Girls (2010 to 2008 Birth Years) and players must play for one of our network of partner clubs (Chatham United, Cheshire Soccer Academy, Legacy Premier, Scotch Plains-Fanwood or Summit) in order to be eligible to play.
